Frequently asked questions

Getting started

What is the medical approval process like?
  1. Choose your program and complete a short online intake form.
  2. A licensed Texas provider reviews your health history.
  3. If approved, your medication, instructions and supplies ship to your home in discreet packaging.
  4. Biweekly check-ins and unlimited provider access continue for as long as you’re on your plan.
Who is eligible for Green Cap?

You must be at least 18, be physically located in Texas at every consultation, and have a valid Texas shipping address. We currently serve Texas patients only.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. Your initial provider consultation is free and included with every plan. Not all patients qualify; prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate.

Who reviews my case?

Every prescription is reviewed and approved by a Texas-licensed physician, nurse practitioner or clinical pharmacist — real clinical judgment, not an algorithm. Meet our providers.

Pricing and billing

Is the medication included in the plan price?

Yes. Plan pricing covers your medication, provider support and free shipping at any dose. GLP-1 plans are billed monthly — never $600–$800 upfront.

Semaglutide planPrice
Green · Month-to-month$179/mo, cancel anytime
Silver · 3-month$149/mo (or $429 prepaid)
Gold · 6-month$129/mo (or $699 prepaid)

Tirzepatide is priced above Semaglutide on every tier. See full pricing for hair, skin and sexual health plans.

Do you accept insurance or HSA/FSA?

We don’t accept or bill insurance. You can request an itemized receipt to submit to your insurer or HSA/FSA yourself; reimbursement isn’t guaranteed.

Do I need lab work?

Your provider may request labs. We offer a one-time panel — lipid, metabolic, A1c, thyroid + TSH and CBC — at a partner lab near you.

Shipping

What is the timeline after medical approval?

Approved prescriptions typically ship within 1–2 business days after provider approval and pharmacy processing. You’ll receive tracking by email or text. Delivery times are estimates.

How is my medication packaged?

Discreet, unmarked packaging to Texas addresses only. Some medications need refrigeration — follow the storage instructions included with your order.

Cancellations and refunds

How do I cancel my plan?

Cancel anytime from your patient portal or by contacting us. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date. You keep access through the period already paid.

What if I am not approved?

If a provider decides treatment isn’t right for you, no prescription is issued. Contact us and we’ll review your order for a refund under our Terms.

Refund eligibility

If you cancel before your prescription is sent to the pharmacy or shipped, contact us and we’ll review your order for a refund.

Under Texas pharmacy regulations, dispensed medications cannot be returned or refunded. Fees for completed consultations are non-refundable.

Replacement policy

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email support@greencaphealth.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. For lost or delayed packages, we’ll work with you and the pharmacy to resolve it.

Medications and privacy

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?

No. Compounded medications aren’t FDA-approved. Our active ingredients come from FDA-registered facilities, and our state-licensed pharmacy partners run third-party tests on every batch for potency, sterility, pH and endotoxins. Lab reports are available on request.

Is my information private?

Yes. All consultations run on an encrypted, HIPAA-compliant platform. Your data is never sold or shared.

How do I reach my care team?

Message us in the patient portal — we aim to reply within 48 hours during business hours (Central Time).
Portal messages aren’t monitored 24/7; for emergencies, call 911.
